Maumee Indoor Theater
The Maumee Indoor Theater was first opened in 1946 as a modern movie house and closed in 1996. The theater was purchased in 2000 by the City of Maumee and underwent restoration from 2001 until the reopening in Spring of 2004. Today it stands as a historic icon in Uptown Maumee. This restored Art Deco theater has become a center for the visual and performing arts. In addition to daily movies, the theater can be rented for special events. Three unique spaces are available for business and social events and are all ADA accessible.
Rates vary by day of the week and duration of rental period. Technical assistance for live productions may be available upon request. Movies are shown daily featuring newer release features and special screenings of classic films. View our "Showtimes" tab for current movie times. Public Events are listed on our Public Events Tab.
